For ONE WEEK ONLY, June 10 – 14, 2019, the Clerk’s Office will accept payment on overdue Alachua County traffic fines and court costs and WAIVE THE COLLECTION FEES. This is a rare and unique opportunity to save up to 35% in collection surcharges.*

The Clerk’s Office is statutorily required to forward all overdue fines and costs to a collection agency after 90 days, where up to 35% in collections surcharges are added to the balance. The Alachua County Clerk’s Office is offering Project Fresh Start to help people clear off the debts and start fresh. Outstanding costs must be paid in full, and in-person, at one of the two courthouses to take advantage of the offer.

Cash, Personal and Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, and Major Credit Cards are accepted**

*Late fees and interest still apply
**Payment with a credit card will accrue a 3.5% convenience fee
+ Additional fees may be due to reinstate driver’s licenses
