Alachua County Animal Resources enforces ordinances and provides services for the all areas of Alachua County only. If you live within county limits, please contact us for service at 352-264-6880.

For immediate animal emergencies after hours (not healthy strays), call 911. For after hours non-emergencies, contact the ​Combined Communications Center line at 352-955-1818.

We respond to non-domesticated animal calls involving a bite or attack to a human or an animal, particularly those dealing with raccoons, bats, foxes, and other possible rabies carriers. Animal Control does not respond to nuisance wildlife calls or remove trapped nuisance wildlife. Please go to www.myfwc.com for a list of wildlife trappers in your area.
