Plat Records Disclaimer

The Alachua County Clerk of Courts is pleased to offer Internet access to the index and images of the Alachua County Plats on file in the County Recording Office. Users should be aware of several items:

  1. While the Clerk's Office has attempted to preserve the accuracy of the online version of the index, this online index is not the official index. The complete and Official Plat Index of Alachua County is available at the County Administration Building.
  2. Currently, during the beta test, the online plat index and images are from the late-1800's, "Plat Book A1" through August 30, 2001.
  3. Plats recorded after December 13, 1999 can also be found through Public Records Online. Plats can be found using name or Book and Page search criteria.
  4. Your assistance is requested. If you identify an image that is of poor quality or appears to be indexed improperly, please notify us at Clerk@alachuaclerk.org.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
  5. For security and analytic purposes, information about searches conducted through the internet index provided will be logged. Information collected from these logs will be used to maintain and improve this service.
  6. The Alachua County Clerk of Court makes every effort to produce and publish the most current and accurate information possible. No warranties, expressed or implied, are provided for the data herein, its use, or its interpretation.
  7. This Index is a search tool to find names and entities on plat documents recorded in the Public Records of Alachua County, Florida. NO CONCLUSIONS SHOULD BE MADE FROM THE INDEX WITHOUT EXAMINING THE DOCUMENT DIRECTLY. Documents for which images are not currently available on this Web site should be examined at the County Recording Office.
  8. This index does not include unrecorded plats, condominium plats and minor subdivision plats.

General Plat Book Information

Book (Drawer) and Page information

Many of the older sheets include more than one plat. Some pages are numbered strangely. Example: Book A Page 83 is three pages, page 83a, page 83b and page 83 1/2. Pages 83a and 83b go together to form one plat, while 83 1/2 is not even related to that plat.
