Summit Presenters

Affordable Home Jaimie A. Ross is the President and CEO of the Florida Housing Coalition. Prior to joining the Florida Housing Coalition as CEO, Ms. Ross served as the Affordable Housing Director at 1000 Friends of Florida, a statewide nonprofit smart growth organization, from 1991- 2015. Prior to her tenure at 1000 Friends of Florida, Ross was a land use and real property lawyer representing for profit and nonprofit developers and financial institutions with a law firm in Orlando.


Affordable Home Susan Pourciau is the director of Homeless Training and Technical Assistance for the Florida Housing Coalition. She coordinates and provides technical assistance to homeless Continuums of Care, nonprofit agencies, and local governments that are working to end homelessness throughout the state.


Affordable Home Jack Humburg is the Executive Vice President of Housing, Development, and Americans with Disabilities Act Services for Boley Centers, Inc. Boley Centers is a 45 year old private non-profit community based origination located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Humburg is responsible for the development of affordable housing at Boley Centers. Currently, Boley Centers and its affiliates currently provide over 1,000 units of affordable housing in Pinellas County.


Affordable Home Natalie Maxwell is an attorney at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida and leads the Renters’ Rights/Affordable Housing Unit.. Her litigation currently focuses on protecting and preserving housing rights of low-income tenants. She has experience litigating a variety of civil rights cases including, disability rights, housing rights, housing discrimination, and special education in federal and state trial courts and administrative hearings. She has also developed and conducted community education on fair housing and accessible housing issues for attorneys and advocates. As part of a two-year national public interest law fellowship, she was responsible for creating and carrying out legal strategies to increase access to accessible and affordable housing for low-income Floridians with disabilities.

Affordable Home Anne Ray is the manager of the Florida Housing Data Clearinghouse at University of Florida’s Shimberg Center for Housing Studies. She directs the Center’s statewide Rental Market Study and has performed research on preservation of assisted rental housing, public housing, the housing needs of persons with disabilities, farmworker housing, and states' implementation of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit. Previously, she worked for the Family Housing Fund in Minneapolis. Ms. Ray holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Affordable Home Mary Alford graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters of Engineering, specializing in Environmental Engineering and with additional background in Urban and Regional Planning and Process Engineering. After working in Water and Wastewater for Gainesville Regional Utilities, she moved to Progress Energy as an Environmental Analyst, then in Power Plant Operations Management, and finally in Power Plant Construction, managing environmental compliance. Observing first hand the environmental cost of energy production led to a career change to energy optimization and sustainable building practices. Currently the managing principal of the Sustainable Design Group, Mary is the sustainability consultant for Brytan, where three homes were recently awarded LEED Silver Certification.

Affordable Home Nancy Muller is Director of Policy and Special Programs for Florida Housing Finance Corporation, the state’s housing finance agency. Florida Housing provides financing through a number of state and federal affordable programs for homeowner and rental housing, including permanent supportive housing for persons with special needs and homeless people.
