Healing Together: Conversations for Mental Wellness and Suicide Prevention

September 28-30, 2026 | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM ET
(Evenings via Zoom)

The Alachua County Crisis Center invites you to participate in our annual free virtual symposium, dedicated to suicide prevention and mental wellness.

This year's theme, Healing Together: Conversations for Mental Wellness and Suicide Prevention, reflects our commitment to making mental health education accessible, practical, and supportive for everyone. Whether you're seeking information for yourself, a loved one, or your community, we welcome you to join us.

Why Attend?

Many people, especially those outside the mental health field, encounter misinformation or feel overwhelmed when trying to access mental health care or support someone who is struggling. This symposium is designed to educate, empower, and connect community members with accurate information, practical skills, and local and national resources.

Across three evenings, experienced mental health professionals, educators, advocates, and community organizations will offer engaging presentations on suicide prevention, mental wellness, self-care, resilience, and navigating the mental health system. Sessions are designed to be accessible to a general audience, and participants are encouraged to attend whichever presentations interest them most.

Whether you are a community member, parent, caregiver, educator, student, or helping professional, we hope you'll leave with greater confidence, practical tools, and renewed hope for supporting yourself and others.

We look forward to learning, connecting, and healing together.
