Alachua County is committed to excellence in customer service, and it is our expectation that employees will conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers. We are equally committed to a professional and respectful work environment for our employees, whether in the office or in the field. If at any time during the course of an inspection the inspector is subjected to inappropriate conduct or language, or feels threatened or unsafe, the employee is authorized to stop the inspection, remove themselves from the premises and contact the Fire Marshal/headquarters immediately.
