Interval Sentencing

    Interval Sentencing provide judges with an alternative to sentencing offenders to the county jail to straight time. Offenders who do not pose a threat to the community and who are employed are allowed to report on an interval basis to the Alachua County Sheriff's Department of the Jail. A Community Service staff member monitors offender's attendance and reports compliance and non-compliance to the Court and Probation staff.

  • Admission to the Program

    Probationers are sentenced to interval time in county court, and should report to Court Services within 72 hours.

  • Fees

    The supervised probationer will be required to pay $40 cost of supervision each month while on probation.
