5-22-18 Commission Regular Meeting

The Alachua County Commission will conduct their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. The meeting begins at 9 a.m., in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Room 209), located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville). The Regular Public Hearing is canceled due to a lack of agenda items.

5. Approval of a Proclamation Declaring May 20th through May 26th, 2018 as "Alachua County Public Works Week" in Alachua County, FL    
6. Program Presentation by Sheriff Sadie Darnell - Airboat Presentation
7. Economic Development Update: Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce  
8. Health Department's Annual Influenza Vaccine Presentation
9. Status Update on Prior BoCC Actions Related to Homeless Services and Discussion of Related Issues 
10. Youth Summit Presentation and Recommendation
12. Update on Property Assessed Clean Energy finance (PACE) Special Assessments
13. Consider the adoption of an ordinance relating to the Housing Finance Authority
There are two public comment opportunities during the Regular Meeting, which enable citizens to speak to items, not on the agenda. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. They will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12, and on the County’s Video on Demand website.
Free parking is available for citizens attending these meetings. Please park in the S.W. Parking Garage (105 S.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville) and bring your parking stub to the Alachua County Manager's Office, located on the second floor of the County Administration Building, to receive a chaser validation ticket.
