Family and Consumer Sciences Program

canningThe UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Family and Consumer Sciences program for December 2020. This program is being offered by Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent IV Martha B. Maddox.

Food Preservation - Jams & Jellies… Great Gift Ideas – December 10, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is a Zoom webinar (with Melanie Thomas and LuAnn Duncan)

Topics for this webinar include making canned and freezer jams and jellies, equipment needed, food safety guidelines, water bath guidelines and methods.

There is no registration fee. Participants must register online (those needing assistance with registering can call the Extension Office at 352-955-2402). Once participants have registered, they will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. This webinar is limited to 250 participants.
