2018 Small Ruminant Workshop

The Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the 2018 Small Ruminant Workshop on September 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the UF Beef Teaching Unit (3721 S.W. 23rd Terrace, Gainesville).

The workshop topics include forage management, animal health & selection, Faffa Malan Chart (FAMACHA) training, selling and marketing milk & cheese, hoof trimming, and hay quality. The guest speakers are Dr. Niki Whitley from Fort Valley University, and Dr. Richard Browning from Tennessee State University.

Participants must register online. The registration fee is $20.00 (with an additional fee), and includes lunch. There are no refunds for registration fees.
