2017 Veterans Resource Fair and Homeless Veteran Stand Down and the Never Forget Ceremony Rescheduled

Due to evacuee assistance from Hurricane Irma, the 2017 Veterans Resource Fair and Homeless Veteran Stand Down scheduled for Friday, September 15, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center is rescheduled to a date to be determined.

The Never Forget Ceremony scheduled for, September 16th scheduled for Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Park is also being rescheduled due to multiple participants serving displaced citizens affected by hurricane Irma.

Alachua County Veteran Services Director Kim Davis said, "Alachua County employees along with many city, state and private citizens are all still working to serve those affected by Hurricane Irma and we will reschedule after we've helped those in immediate need."
