NW/SW 91st Street Resurfacing Project Public Meeting

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Public Works Department is inviting citizens to attend a NW/SW 91st Street Resurfacing Project Public Meeting.   The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lawton Chiles Elementary School located at 2525 Schoolhouse Road, Gainesville, FL.

The purpose of the project is to resurface the NW/SW 91st Street corridor from SW 8th Avenue to Newberry Road and to add traffic calming features.

The purpose of the meeting is to present detailed, 60% design plans showing the locations and types of features being proposed for the roadway.  There will be an informal presentation followed by a period of public comment.  Comments and suggestions from the public are encouraged.  The public's input and participation will be an invaluable tool in determining the best course of action.
