3 Special Meetings – 16th Ave./23rd Ave. Item at 5 p.m.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct three Special Meetings on Tuesday August 7, 2012.  The 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. meetings are in the Grace Knight Conference Room on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville. The 5 p.m. meeting is in the boardroom (room 209) also on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building.

Citizens please note: The 16th Ave. /NW 23rd Ave. resurfacing project is on the agenda at the 5 p.m. meeting.

The three meeting are as follows:

1.    The 10 a.m. Special Meeting/General Policy Discussion begins at 10 a.m.

The agenda includes the following item for Board discussion:

·         Mosquito Control

2.    The 1:30 p.m. Special Budget Meeting

This meeting is to discuss FY2013 budget development.

3.    The 5 p.m. Special Meeting

Agenda items for this meeting include:

·         Hold the public hearing and adopt the proposed ordinance to provide for county implementation of the water management district watering restrictions

·         NW 16th Ave/NW 23rd Ave Resurfacing Projects - 60% Plans
