ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - On Tuesday October 5, 2010, the Alachua County Commission will conduct two special meetings. Both meetings are in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.
The 1:30 p.m. meeting is to hear a presentation on the Pavement Management Program from the Public Works Department.

The 5 p.m. meeting is a Public Hearing on the Update/Amendment of the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan based on the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (Transmittal Hearing) :
