ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling and yard trash will not be affected due to the observance of Independence Day on Sunday, July 4th. The Office of Waste Collection and the Hazardous Waste Center will be closed on Monday July, 5th. The five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers and the Leveda Brown Environmental Park’s Transfer Station will not be affected by the holiday and will be open for their regularly scheduled operational hours.
