  • 3rd Annual Family Information/Children "Happyween" Fun Day

    ​Alachua County Community Support Services, Office of Community Stabilization, the Children's Services Advisory Board (CSAB), and City of Gainesville Depot Park have joined forces for our 3rd Annual Family Information/Children "Happyween" Fun Day.

    This event will be held at the City of Gainesville Depot Park located at 200 Southeast Depot Avenue, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from noon to 3:00 pm.

    The purpose of this event is to connect families with local agencies, organizations, law enforcement, emergency management services, county and city fire rescue services, health, waste management, housing and employment services.  Agencies will be able to assist citizens with questions and also give referrals if needed.

    There are numerous services in our community that citizens are not aware of, and since there is no one stop location for information, it is very important that we take services and information to our communities.

    This event will be held the Saturday before Halloween with special activities planned for the children.  Activities will include Infant Car Seat & Bicycle Safety Demonstrations, Face Painting, Entertainment and more with emphasis on it being a safe place for our children to Trick or Treat with their parents close by.
