Wild Spaces and Public Places Citizens Oversight Committee Vacancy

Pocket parkAlachua County is seeking applicants to fill an alternate vacancy on the Wild Spaces and Public Places Citizens Oversight Committee. The Committee oversees and ensures that funds collected through the Wild Spaces and Public Places sales tax, collected from 2017-2025, are expended in accordance with referendum language.

County Assistant Manager Gina Peebles said, “Serving on this Board is an opportunity for citizens to be involved by helping to make sure that Wild Spaces and Public Places funds are properly invested.”
