The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Family Consumer Science Program for February 2026. This program is offered by Family & Consumer Science Agent Ebony Griffin.
Super Bowl Snacking – Feb. 6, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)
- A live cooking demonstration will feature healthier versions of traditional Super Bowl snacks.
- Participants learn practical techniques for reducing calories and improving nutrition in game-day favorites.
- Recipes will be provided for attendees to prepare at home.
The registration fee of $15 includes all training materials and food. Participants must register online (walk-ins are not allowed) by Sunday, Feb. 1. The program is limited to 20 participants. There are not refunds within four days of the event. Animals (other than those defined as service animals under the ADA) are prohibited.
