As part of the county’s efforts to support pet owners and ensure pets receive the care they need, Alachua County Animal Resources (ACAR) is partnering with Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic to host a low-cost veterinary clinic for pets on March 21, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the county’s animal shelter (3400 NE 53rd Ave., Gainesville).
The clinic will offer affordable services to help pet owners maintain the health and well-being of their furry family members. Services include:
- Vaccinations starting at $35
- Microchipping for $35
- Preventive medications starting at $20
- Infectious disease testing starting at $50
Appointments are encouraged to help reduce wait times, but walk-ins are welcome.
