The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.
The committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting is not available live on Cox Channel 12, but is available on the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), and the county’s video-on-demand website.
Items for the Development Review Committee meeting:
Alachua County Monteocha Park – This is a Revised Final Development Plan to construct a new playground, concrete sidewalks, pavilions and parking with associated infrastructure improvements on approximately 5.08 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 07644-002-000 at 803 NW 192nd Ave.
Replat for Farms of Kanapaha Planned Development Lot 41 – This is a Minor Change to a Planned Development and Replat to create two lots on approximately 7.49 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 07347-041-000 and 07347-041-002 at 6715 SW 100th Lane.
Newberry Park Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) - Block 7 Heartland Dental – This is a Final Development Plan to construct an approximately 4,318 sq. ft. dental office on 1.03 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 04322-002-001 in the 12000 Block of Newberry Road.
Steeplechase Town Center – This is a Final Development Plan to construct two 8,000 sq ft and one 8,925 sf commercial buildings and associated infrastructure on approximately 3.19 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 04344-001-000 at 14217 W. Newberry Road, Newberry.
