The Mandatory Evacuation Order for mobile homes, manufactured homes, and recreational vehicles has been lifted.
The Mandatory Evacuation Order remains in effect for flood prone areas adjacent to the Santa Fe River. Water levels in the Santa Fe River will continue to rise through mid-week. Isolated flooding around creeks and streams may also occur. If you live in these areas, please make arrangements to go to other accommodations, with friends or family.
As a last resort, a shelter at the Martin Luther King Multipurpose Center (1028 N.E. 14th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601) will open at approximately 7 pm. tonight, Monday, September 11, 2017.
