Tropical Storm Elsa Update #12 Flooding

Alachua County encourages residents to stay home if at all possible. Multiple reports of flooding, downed power lines, and downed trees are coming in. This creates a very hazardous environment. We will update you on flooded areas soon.  In the meantime, if out, do not drive through standing water whose depth is unknown, go nowhere near downed power lines, and be wary of fallen branches and trees.  Call 311 for information and 911 to report emergencies.

Those who lose power due to impacts from Tropical Storm Elsa should report the outage to their provider:

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) 352-334-2871
Clay Electric 888-434-9844
Duke Energy 800-228-8485
Florida Power and Light 1-800-4-OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243)
