Sixth Annual 4-H Little Run on the Prairie 5k

The sixth annual 4-H Little Run on the Prairie 5k will be held on December 1, 2018. The race begins at 8:30 a.m., at the Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park (100 Savannah Blvd., Micanopy).

This event raises scholarship funds for youth to attend summer programs. Last year’s event provided scholarships for over 30 youth to attend camps, workshops, and more. The 5k is for those who want to walk or run, and there will be many opportunities to learn about 4-H and the Healthy Living program.

Those who would like to run or walk in the 5k should sign up online, or download a registration form.

Those wishing to volunteer at the event should contact 4-H Youth Development Agent Amanda Morgan at amorgan@alachuacounty.us.
