September Environmental Horticulture Program

​The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Environmental Horticulture program for September 2023. This program is offered by Dr. Cynthia Nazario-Leary, Environmental Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener Volunteers.

The Why & How of Watering Efficiently – September 12, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)

The second principle of Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ is “Water Efficiently.” This presentation teaches why this practice is so important for anyone who maintains a landscape and offers some strategies for conserving water while still having an attractive yard.

There is no registration fee, but participants must register online. It is limited to 100 participants.
