Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 19-24 Rebid Code Enforcement Special Magistrate

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County seeks to retain the services of a Code Enforcement Special Magistrate ("Special Magistrate") to hear alleged violations of the Alachua County Ordinances. As set forth in the Minimum Qualifications and Requirements section set forth below, the Special Magistrate must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and currently be in good standing with the Florida Bar at the time of appointment or reappointment and for the previous five years. The Special Magistrate must also have a residence or place of business within Alachua County and have a reputation in the community for integrity, responsibility and professional ability. Submittals which fail to meet these minimum qualifications will not be presented to the Board.

Proposal materials are available online or at the Alachua County Purchasing Division (12 S.E. 1st Street, 3rd Floor, Gainesville). The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) must be received by Alachua County Division of Purchasing, 3rd Floor County Administration Building, 12 S.E. 1st Street Gainesville, Florida 32601 no later than 2 p.m., December 19, 2018. Submittals should include one hard copy and one electronic copy (flash drive). Each submittal must be placed in a sealed box or envelope and labeled on the outside of the box or envelope: "RFQ: 19-24 Rebid Code Enforcement Special Magistrate".
