The Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization for the Gainesville Urbanized Area is updating its Long-Range Transportation Plan. They are hosting a Community Virtual Public Workshop on June 9, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will present transportation plans and receive community input.
This workshop will address:
- Alternative 1 - Revenue forecast transit project emphasis
- Alternative 2 - Revenue forecast roadway capacity project emphasis
- Congested transportation system network corridors
- Transportation system network capacity needs
The workshop is a virtual public meeting, as permitted by Florida Governor’s Executive Order No. 2020-69. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, familial status, religious status, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
