The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County (DOH-Alachua), and the Department of Children and Families' Child Fatality Prevention Partnership are hosting a Florida Healthy Babies meeting on Friday, July 26, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Thomas Coward Auditorium (224 S.E. 24th Street, Gainesville). The event is free and open to the public. Babies are welcome.
Caregivers, parents and professionals are invited to attend this collaborative Summer Safety learning opportunity. There will be presentations from the Department of Children and Families, Florida/USVI Poison Information Center in Jacksonville, and Infant Swimming Resource in Gainesville. There will be free snacks, resource information, and a raffle for a safe sleep play yard.
