Florida Department of Health in Alachua County Receives Platinum Practice Designation

The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County recently received the Platinum Practice designation from Liberty Dental Plan. The Platinum Practice designation recognizes dental offices for outstanding quality performance, comprehensive patient care, and accessibility in serving Liberty Dental Plan’s child members in the Florida Medicaid Program.

Alachua County is one of 100 providers that received this award (out of 1500). 

“We are so proud of the efforts of the great folks at the Department of Health in Alachua County,” said Alachua County Commission Chair Marihelen Wheeler. “We are committed to assisting the Health Department in many ways including $1.6 million in annual funding for primary care needs, which includes dental care, and many other collaborative efforts.”
