A new edition of Alachua County Talks featuring an interview with Alachua County Poet Laureate E. Stanley Richardson premieres Wednesday, November 3, 2021, on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m.
Richardson is an American poet, actor, playwright, and producer. In addition to serving as Alachua County’s Poet Laureate, he is also one of five Florida poets selected by the Florida Council on Arts and Culture to be Florida’s next Poet Laureate, to be appointed by the governor.
In speaking of the interview, Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “Stan is a gifted poet and artist. His work as Alachua County’s first Poet Laureate has been outstanding.”
The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air on Cox Channel 12 at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 11:30 p.m., and 12 a.m., every day. Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
