Alachua County is advertising a Call-to-Artists for an outdoor sculpture and indoor mural for Alachua County UF/IFAS Office. Submittals are due to Alachua County Procurement by Wednesday, January 13, 2021, no later than 2 p.m. via
CODAWorx.com. Artists or artist teams are encouraged to apply.
The two individual pieces of art shall include a 15’x8’ indoor mural in the public lobby and an outdoor sculpture in the Master Gardeners demonstration gardens. Both pieces of art should reflect the mission of Alachua County UF/IFAS Extension Office “To provide scientifically based agricultural, human, and natural resource knowledge to the citizens of Alachua County.”
The office building is currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of October 2021. The budget for the project is $32,550.
