Ag Entrepreneurship Series: Starting a Farm & Farm Business Planning
Course 1: Starting a Farm
Online access: August 14 through August 27, 2020. Live webinar: August 28, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon
Articulate vision and goals; assess resources; evaluate the suitability and feasibility of farm enterprises; and learn about business structures, registration, and regulations. Register by August 14.
Course 2: Farm Business Planning
Online access: August 28 through September 10, 2020. Live webinar: September 11, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon
Conduct market research and a SWOT analysis. Develop a mission statement, marketing plan, operations plan, human resource plan, financial plan, and risk management plan. Register by August 28.
