4-3-18 Special Meeting

​The Alachua County Commission will conduct a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The meeting begins at 10 a.m., in the Grace Knight Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

This meeting includes a discussion of the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan Update regarding Natural Resource Protection.

The meeting agenda includes:

2. Discussion of the acquisition and management of conservation easements
3. Alachua County Greenways and Trail Towns Program
4. CareerSource North Central Florida update
5. Alachua County Comprehensive Plan Update: Natural Resource Protection - Specific topics to be discussed include wetlands protection, water quality and conservation, stormwater, open space, tree protection, air quality and other natural resource protection strategies relating to the built environment, as well as land conservation policies and strategies.

The public is invited to attend this meeting. It will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12 and on the County’s Video on Demand website.

Free parking is available for citizens attending this meeting. Please park in the S.W. Parking Garage (105 S.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville) and bring your parking stub to the Alachua County Manager's Office, located on the second floor of the County Administration Building, to receive a chaser validation ticket.
