10-5-23 Development Review Committee Meeting

The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. 

The Committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), or the County’s Video on Demand website

Items for the Development Review Committee Meeting:

Jonesville Self Storage – This is a Final Development Plan to construct a three-story self-storage facility totaling approximately 130,000 sq ft and associated infrastructure on approximately 3.23 acres. It is located on the southern portion of Tax Parcel Number 04344-001-000 along the 200 block East of the S.W. 143rd Street and South of States Road 26/Newberry Road.

Origis Energy Solar Facility - This is a Preliminary and Final Development Plan to construct a solar energy facility with a 1,000 sq. ft. non-residential building on approximately 599.00 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 05291-000-000, 05224-000-000, 05198-000-000, 05197-000-000, and 04741-003-000 south of S.W. County Road 346 with CHW, Inc. as agents. Rural/Agriculture Future Land Use Designation; Agricultural (A) Zoning District.
