Alachua County Commission approves Jonesville rezoning request, apologizes to neighbors for history of racist land use policy

Alachua County commissioners discuss gun violence prevention five-year plan

​The plan follows resolutions adopted by both the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners and the Gainesville City Commission declaring gun violence a public health crisis. The two bodies then joined with Santa Fe College to form the partnership, which received funding from the Children’s Trust of Alachua County.
