The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.
The committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting is not available live on Cox Channel 12, but is available on the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), and the county’s video-on-demand website.
Items for the Development Review Committee meeting:
South Pointe - Ph II Unit IIB Lot 30 – This is a replat for South Pointe - Ph II Unit IIB Lot 30 for a single lot replat to adjust the property line on approximately 0.18 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 04321-203-030 at 1543 NW 118th Street.
Westside Baptist Church School Addition – This is a Revised Final Development Plan for Westside Baptist Church School Addition to construct a 7,936 sf modular building for a private school. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 06306-000-000, 06307-000-000, 06307-001-000 at 10000 W. Newberry Rd.
Precon Shop Addition – This is a revised Final Development Plan for Precon Shop Addition to construct three industrial buildings with a combined area of 16,130 sf on approximately 1.41 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 07240-001-004 at 5006 SW 41st Blvd.
Duke Energy Archer Substation Improvement – This is a Preliminary and Final Development Plan for Duke Energy Archer Substation Improvement to construct a facilities and equipment upgrade to an existing electric substation on 21.94 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 04631-001-000 and 04631-003-000 at 15401 SW 103rd Ave.
