Alachua County will host a community open house for the Kincaid Loop Trail project on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at the TB McPherson Center (1717 SE 15th St., Gainesville).
The open-house style event allows residents to drop in at any time during the two-hour window to view updated project designs and provide feedback.
The Kincaid Loop Trail is a planned 3.34-mile, 10-foot-wide shared-use path designed to enhance pedestrian and bicycle mobility in southeast Gainesville. The project includes stormwater enhancements, pedestrian lighting, and upgraded signage and pavement markings to support safer and more accessible multimodal travel.
The trail will follow Southeast 15th, Southeast 41st Avenue, and Southeast 27th Street.
