Alachua County is seeking applicants to fill two full vacancies and one alternate position on the Wild Spaces Public Places Citizens Oversight Board. The committee’s meeting schedule and frequency of meetings will be determined when all appointments have been confirmed. The deadline to apply for this Board is September 30, 2017.
The Committee oversees and assures that funds collected through the Wild Spaces & Public Places sales tax, collected from 2017-2025, are expended consistently with referendum language.
