The Alachua County Housing Program invites residents to participate in an online survey on local fair housing issues. All residents of the County are encouraged to take the survey.
As recipients of federal funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Gainesville, Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA), Alachua County, and the Alachua County Housing Authority (ACHA) must certify to affirmatively furthering fair housing and are required to conduct an Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH).
Alachua County Housing Program Specialist Satori Days said, “We appreciate your willingness to participate and value your feedback. Our hope is this process will help us identify fair housing issues, challenges, or barriers present in the County.”
