5-8-18 Commission Regular Meeting

​The Alachua County Commission will conduct their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. The meeting begins at 9 a.m., in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Room 209), located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville). The Regular Public Hearing is canceled due to a lack of agenda items.

4. Approval of a Proclamation declaring May 2018 as "National Drug Court Month" in Alachua County, FL
5. Approval of a Proclamation declaring May 15th, 2018 as "Police Memorial Day" and May 13th, 2018 through May 19th, 2018 as "National Police Week" in Alachua County, FL
6. Approval of a Proclamation declaring May 14th, 2018 as "Child Welfare Professional Recognition Day" in Alachua County, FL

There are two public comment opportunities during the Regular Meeting, which enable citizens to speak to items, not on the agenda. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. They will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12, and on the County’s Video on Demand website.

Free parking is available for citizens attending these meetings. Please park in the S.W. Parking Garage (105 S.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville) and bring your parking stub to the Alachua County Manager's Office, located on the second floor of the County Administration Building, to receive a chaser validation ticket.
