Lunch and Learn Solar Education Event

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Office of Sustainability invites citizens to a “Lunch and Learn Solar Education Event” on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from noon to 1 p.m. The lunch and learn event is in the Grace Knight Conference Room, on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

Home and business owners who attend will learn how to get started with solar panels and equipment. Solar Impact, a local solar installation company, will explain available solar options, solar policies and laws, and general solar finance.

The event is the third of a monthly series of workshops and information sessions for the Water Energy and Waste Opportunities for Conservation (WEWOC) program by Alachua County’s Office of Sustainability.

The Office of Sustainability offers these lunch and learn events as an opportunity for community discussion and empowerment. Participants can park in the City parking garage (105 SW 3rd St, Gainesville) and bring their tickets for validation.
