June Agriculture & Natural Resources Program

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Agriculture & Natural Resources Program for June, 2015. This program will be offered by Barton Wilder, Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center (13611 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville).

Equine Workshop – June 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group will be hosting this equine workshop. The workshop topics include: disaster preparation, toxic weed identification & management, fencing, farmscaping your ranch, nutrition and herd health. This workshop will be conducted by UF/IFAS Equine Extension Specialist, Carissa Wickens, and UF/IFAS Extension Agents from the Northeast District Extension Offices.

The registration fee to attend this workshop is $10.00 (late registration fee is $20.00), lunch will be provided. 

Participants must register online by June 3.
