Street Dedication in Honor of PFC Donald Vincent

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Veterans Services invites citizens to the street dedication, renaming Ft. Clarke Blvd. "Donald Vincent Blvd." in honor of Private First Class (PFC) Donald "Wayne" Vincent. The ceremony will take place at the intersection of NW 23rd Ave and Ft. Clarke Blvd. on September 11, 2009 (Patriots Day), beginning at 10:30 a.m. 

PFC Vincent attended Ft. Clarke Middle School and was recently killed in action while serving with the US Marines in Afghanistan.   Mr. & Mrs. Vincent and family will be on hand with representation from the Alachua County School Board, Alachua County Commission, students, faculty along with members of the Alachua County veteran community.
