ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The following is the schedule of Congressional meetings Alachua County Commissioner Paula M. DeLaney and Legislative Affairs Director Rick Mills are attending during today's visit to Washington, DC:
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd
10:30 AM - Meeting with the Honorable Cliff Stearns and staff
1:30 PM - Meeting with Senator George LeMieux and Spencer Wayne, Legislative Assistant
2:00 PM - Meeting with the Bill Couch, Appropriations Legislative Assistant
TIME TBD - Meeting with Rep. Corrine Brown and Staff(NOTE: Senator Nelson is attending a Senate Democratic Retreat and unavailable to meet on this trip)
During these meetings, they will be discussing issues of concern to Alachua County including the Cabot/Koppers Superfund Site.
