The City of High Springs has lifted the boil water notice imposed on Thursday, December 15, 2005. Water sample results from the Alachua County Health Department indicate no bacteriological contamination of the water system. A precautionary boiled water notice was advised following a water line break that affected the area north of HWY 441, west of County Road 236, south of NW 11th Avenue, and east of NW 6th Street.
