An opening reception is on Friday, March 31, beginning at 7 p.m., and features speakers and live performance art pieces.

The show will travel to the Harn Museum of Art (3259 Hull Rd, Gainesville) from Tuesday, April 11, to Sunday, April 23. A small reception will be held on Thursday, April 13, beginning at 6 p.m., in conjunction with Museum Nights.

The show and receptions are free and open to the public.

"Art is a very powerful vehicle for healing," said Alachua County Victim Advocate Counselor Ashley Flattery. "The process of creating art allows survivors to discover unique ways of expressing how their victimization has impacted their life. Through this show, we are able to give survivors a safe space to share their art as part of their healing.”
