Storm Debris Clean-up Road Closures

Beginning Friday, November 10, 2017, flag crews will be working on N.W. 55th Street (from N.W. 8th Avenue to N.W. 23rd Avenue) in unincorporated Alachua County removing storm debris from that area. This 
work is estimated to last four days.

Beginning Saturday, November 11, 2017, flag crews will be working on N.W. 16th Avenue (from N.W. 43rd Street to Waldo Road) in unincorporated Alachua County removing storm debris from that area. This work is estimated to last four days.

Beginning Saturday, November 11, 2017, flag crews will be working on N.W. 53rd Street (from N.W. 39th Avenue to N.W. 23rd Avenue) in unincorporated Alachua County removing storm debris from that area. This work is estimated to last four days.

Beginning Tuesday, November 14, 2017, flag crews will be working on Tower Road (from Newberry Road to Archer Road) in unincorporated Alachua County removing storm debris from that area. This work is estimated to last four days.

Several county Roads and roads in the unincorporated County require certified flag crews. Cleaning debris on these roads will occur based on crew availability.

These additional roads include: 

  • N.W. 98th Street (from Newberry Road to 39th Avenue)
  • N.W. 39th Avenue
  • N.W. 23rd Avenue
  • N.W. 43rd Street
  • S.W. 8th Avenue
  • S.W. 24th Avenue
  • S.W. 75th Street
  • Parker Road
  • County Road 241 (north of Newberry Road)
  • East University Avenue (east of the State Road 26 split)
  • Lakeshore Drive
