ALACHUA COUNTY, Fl - Alachua County has been receiving many questions regarding trash, solid waste and yard debris pick up:
· The Leveda Brown Transfer Station will be open Tuesday, September 12, 2017 for regular operating hours (7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
· Curbside collection of solid waste for Alachua County will be on Monday’s collection schedule, garbage and recycling only. All services will be delayed by one day. Yard waste will be picked up on the storm debris schedule
· Damage assessment for emergency storm debris will be completed on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. A schedule for neighborhood pickup of storm debris will be distributed daily as available. For now, just put your debris on the side of the road. All debris size rules have been suspended.
· All Solid Waste Rural Collection Centers will be closed Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Centers will reopen when they become operational.
