Thursday, October 13, 2016 10:00 AM

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - As of Wednesday night (October 12, 2016), WCA reports that approximately 95% of the normally scheduled Tuesday yard waste route has been collected. They will continue collection today to complete the route. Large piles requiring a special claw truck will continue to be collected throughout the remainder of the week and may require some of next week to be reached.

The Alachua County Office of Solid Waste and Resource Recovery appreciates the patience that residents have shown as they service all of the additional yard debris from Hurricane Matthew.

For information about preparing waste for pickup, visit the Solid Waste & Resource Recovery website.
