ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

ZOM-03-16 (Planned Development Major Amendment) - This is a request by Ryan Thompson of CHW, Inc., agent, for Tower Technology Park, LLC, owners, for an amendment to permitted uses in an existing Planned Development (Tower Hill PD Lots 15-19) district to allow an Educational Facility, Vocational, Business or Technical School and Incidental Food and Beverage Sales located at 7525 N.W. 4th Blvd on Tax Parcel Number 06656-066-151 on approximately 4.99 acres. These uses will take place in an existing structure on the Tower Hill Campus (the former Verizon Building) and are not presently allowed in the Tower Hill PD.
