Wednesday, June 29, 2016 3:00 PM

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services is hosting a "Kitten-Palooza" pet adoption event on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alachua County Animal Services headquarters (3400 N.E. 53rd Ave., Gainesville).

During the event, adoption fees for most kittens are reduced to $10, and include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, feline leukemia test, full vet exam, and a free follow-up exam.

“We are overflowing with kittens,” said Alachua County Animal Services Shelter Supervisor Jane Grantman. “There is no better time than now to adopt. Help us save animal lives, and consider adopting from your local shelter.”

Those unable to adopt may consider fostering an animal or volunteering at the shelter. Visit the County’s website for information about these opportunities.

Information about all adoptable animals is available on the PetHarbor website.
